Let's enjoy with this fight..............

Bisleri international chairman Ramesh Chauhan and The Coca Cola Company (TCCC) are locked in a dispute over the intellectual property rights for soft drink trademark “Maaza” outside India. Mr Chauhan has accused Coca cola of stealing the IPR for Maaza and infringing agreements dating back to 1993 and 1994 signed between TCCC and Aqua Minerals (now Bisleri). Mr Chauhan claims that the Maaza trademark was sold to TCCC only within India and the licensee (Bisleri) was the registered proprietor of the trademark outside India.
Coca cola however, claims that “there was no non compete agreement entered into by the Chauhan entities to restrain the company in relation to any country where the Maaza trademark was not registered by a Chauhan entity”. In a strongly worded notice to Coca Cola, Mr chauhan has claimed that by trying to register the trademark outside India, Coke has placed him in an embarrassing position in relation to his contractual obligation with other parties. He has now sought compensation for this.
Key Point

· Launched in 1976, Maaza was the brainchild of Ramesh Chauhan, who sold it to coke in 1993, along with Thums Up, Citra, Goldspot,Rim-Zim and Limka.
· In June 2007, the Bisleri Group-promoted Maaza Beverages sold the trademark rights of Maaza for International markets to its bottlers Infra Beverages, Europe, and House of Spice, US
· Coke, which owns the trademark in India, is said to have been keen on buying the rights for overseas markets, Chauhan claims Maaza trademark was sold to Coke only within India and Bisleri was the registered proprietor for it outside India.
· Coke however, claims there was no non-compere agreement to restrain it in relation to any country where a Chauhan Entity did not register the Maaza trademark.

Moble Phone on Planes in EU

The use of mobiles on planes flying in European airspace has been given approval by UK regulator Ofcom. It has issued plans that will allow airlines to offer mobile services on UK-registered aircraft.
The decision means that mobiles could be used once a plane has reached an altitude of 3,000m or more. But airlines keen to offer the services must still satisfy other regulators about how the hardware will be used.
Service charge
Ofcom's decision comes out of a consultation exercise that began in October 2007.
The decision to offer the services now falls to individual airlines. However, there are other regulatory hurdles to overcome before the technology is considered to be fully approved.
The European Aviation Safety Agency needs to approve any hardware that would be installed in aircraft to ensure that it did not interfere with other flight systems.
How it Works
The plan is to install small mobile phone base stations, called pico cells, in aircraft that will be switched on after take-off. The base station generates a bubble of coverage in and around the aircraft.
Calls made via the pico cell will be routed to terrestrial networks via satellite link. Across Europe radio spectrum has been set aside for the technology.
The services could stop working once aircraft leave European airspace.

Indians Pulling Down Ourselves

Yes this is really very true. Where all of the world opposing china over Tibet issue, Indians are behaving like impotent. Its fact that these are the issue of china internal matter but the violation of Human rights over there should not be acceptable to the world and India, while all these cruel things happening beside of India, so the role of India is crucial and they have to play important role to put pressure on china but India is just behaving like ally of china. It is nothing-just fears of India. Indians not forgetting 1962 defeat.
Indians, they don’t realizing his own potential and strengths where china putting more pressure on India that don’t try to be competitors or enemy otherwise they will repeat of 1962. And almost they are doing in the Arunachal pradesh, china crossed boarder more than 100 times and same thing they are doing in laddkh region also and continuously they are putting more pressure on India with the helping of Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is needles to say that how they are helping to Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Whereas Indian mentality they are worse in all over the world. You will never find any Indian company who helping Indian counterpart in abroad to settle, adversely chinies helping more than any other people. That’s why US and UK making a rules to not involve any chines student on missile research programm because they are more spy of chinies government than student. One of the article which I have red today and the comment was most knowledgeable, I am putting it same here:-

The reason Indians are losing to the Chinese in USA and UK is that Indians are against Indians and Chinese just like Jews also support other Chinese.
It is my experience in the UK (I got a PhD from a top grade UK University) that is there is one Indian staff member in the Faculty he will do his best not to recruit any other Indian. If some Indian can brak through he will create all kind of trouble so that that newly recruited Indian got to leave. Indian professors also deliberately fail or would not allow a student to a First Class Degree if that student is Indian.
Look at the Chinese. If there is one Chinese professor in the Faculty within two years there would be another three Chinese lecturers with Chinese PhD and at least four Chinese PhD students with full scholarships. Chinese professor will try his best to recruit both other Chinese staffs with Chinese PhDs in British Universities and provide scholarships to Chinese students. He will give maximum scores to the Chinese students to promote them. Jews behave exactly in the same way.
Indian companies do not recruit Indians, Chinese or Jews also recruit Chinese or Jews first.
Now in India Indian companies are investing heavily in China and buying everything from China depriving India and Indian companies.
This is the reason China is winning.
Another one
And our biggest drawback is our educational institutions they are pathetic. All people talk about it IIT IIM, as though the people who missed getting into these institutions (around 95% of the student population each year) are all crap.
The quality of M.Techs in India is down in the dumps.
The govt doesn't fund higher education anymore, merit has no value, and the reason given by the govt about lack of scholarships is that they don't get any returns.
China, on the other hand, is funding B.Techs, PhDs and M.Techs with scholarships like MAD. You attend any decent Computer Science conference, half the papers are written either by Chinese settled in the US or by Chinese profs/students in Chinese universities. The quality of all the papers is not all that great at all, but you see the attitude. That is enough. Some more time and they'll really overtake the US.
But my conclusion china will not succeed on his dream because only getting a good GDP will not satisfy your countrymen, yes we know it that chinies can not express his view pulicly but see this Tibet revolt it is spreading all over china without any media. I am not saying that china will failure but they can’t be stable country until or unless they are not giving more authority to people.

Insurance Sector in India

In this world everyone wants to secure his/her future, because today's life is very unsecured and unpredictable, anytime a mishap in life can occur. In India more than 54 percent of people are uninsured so this is the biggest market for big cos so all international big insurance companies are eying on India, but the biggest problems are that more than 50 percent of people are living in villages and rural areas where there is a very limited way of communicate with these people, so the first thing to do business here is to develop a communication center in rural areas which is very difficult to do. It is because India is a country where more than 1400 regional languages are spoken and so many tribal communities are there.

Right now India is developing very fast and the middle class has been growing tremendously. They are earning enough money to secure their own future but the biggest challenge is how to convince them to trust on private companies because in India there is very bad record of private insurance companies. So many people have lost their money, which they have invested in those companies, which has run away from India. Now Indian government body IRDA has been watching everything very carefully and now company has to get prior approval to do business here.

Some of the companies that are doing business successfully are: -
LIC
General Insurance Company
ICICI
Birla Sun life
Tata Aig
Met life
The new India insurance company
ING Vysya
Max New York life insurance Company
United India Insurance Company
Royal sundaram Insurance Company
Bharti AXA life insurance Company
Relience life insurance Company
Aviva Bajaj Allianz
